Scoring: Each FRQ is worth 9 points. Total FRQ raw score = sum of all 6 questions (max 54). Partial credit is awarded within each question.

AB Subscore

AP Calculus BC includes an AB subscore (1–5) based on questions that cover only AB-level content. This is reported alongside your BC score and can be used for college credit in some cases. AB subscore questions are approximately: MCQ Part A Q1–24, MCQ Part B Q1–9, FRQ Q1, Q3, Q4.

Scoring Method
Composite = MCQ raw + FRQ raw
MCQ and FRQ are weighted equally (each 50% of final score). Raw scores are scaled to a composite, then converted to 1–5.
No wrong-answer penalty
Since 2011, there is no guessing penalty on the MCQ section. Answer every question.
